And he said, "Peace to you; do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father must have given you a treasure in your sacks; your money came to me." And he brought Simeon out to them.
And {he greeted them} and said, "Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he still alive?"
Yahweh will lift up his face upon you, and he will give you peace.'
Therefore say, 'Behold, I [am] giving to him my covenant of peace,
In peace I will lie down and sleep {at once}, for you alone, O Yahweh, make me dwell safely.
May Yahweh give strength to his people. May Yahweh bless his people with peace.
Let [the] mountains yield prosperity for the people, and [the] hills in righteousness.
May [what is] right blossom in his days and an abundance of peace, until [the] moon is no more.
because I envied the boastful [when] I saw [the] well-being of [the] wicked.
I will hear what God, Yahweh, will speak, because he will speak peace to his people, even his faithful [ones], but let them not return to folly.
I will meditate on your precepts and look at your ways.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be at ease. May peace be within your walls, security within your palaces."
He shall judge between the nations and he shall arbitrate for many peoples. They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. A nation shall not lift up a sword against a nation, and they shall not learn war again.
For every boot {that marches and shakes the earth} and garment rolled in blood {will} be for burning--fire fuel. For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. And the dominion will be on his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. read more. {His dominion will grow continually, and to peace there will be no end} on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and sustain it with justice and righteousness now and forever. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this.
And righteousness shall be the belt around his waist, and faithfulness the belt around his loins. And a wolf shall {stay} with a lamb, and a leopard shall lie down with a kid, and a calf and a lion and a fatling together {as a small boy leads} them. read more. And a cow and a bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together. And a lion shall eat straw like the cattle. And {an infant} shall play over a serpent's hole, and {a toddler} shall put his hand on a viper's hole. They will not injure and they will not destroy on all of my {holy mountain}, for the earth will be full [of the] knowledge [of] Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
O that you had listened attentively to my commandments! Then your prosperity would have been like river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
"There is no peace," says Yahweh, "for the wicked."
For thus says Yahweh, "You must not enter [the] house of [the] funeral meal, and you must not go to lament, and you must not show sympathy for them, for I have taken away my peace from this people," {declares} Yahweh, "the loyal love and the compassion.
And by his planning he will make a success of deceit by his hand, and in his {mind} he will {boast}, and in [their] ease he will destroy many, and [even] against [the] prince of princes he will rise up, and he will be broken, [but] not by human hands.
And in his place a despicable person will arise on whom they have not conferred the majesty of [the] kingdom, and he will come in {without warning} and he will seize [the] kingdom by deceit.
In [a time of] ease and in [the] rich parts of [the] province, he will come and he will do what {his predecessors} did not do; he will distribute plunder and spoil and possessions to them, and he will devise his plans against fortifications, but [only] {for a time}.
'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says Yahweh of hosts, 'and in this place I will give peace' {declares} Yahweh of hosts.'"
And I will cut off [the] chariot from Ephraim, and [the] horse from Jerusalem; the battle bow will be cut down, and he will announce peace to the nations. His dominion [will be] from sea to sea, and from [the] River to [the] ends of [the] earth.
"Then you will know that I have sent to you this command, that my covenant with Levi {continues}," says Yahweh of hosts.
And [when you] enter into the house, greet it.
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth! I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
But he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be well from your suffering."
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace."
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people {with whom he is pleased}!"

And [while] they were saying these [things], he himself stood there among them.

I have said these [things] to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction, but have courage! I have conquered the world."
[As for] the message that he sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ--this one is Lord of all--
Therefore, [because we] have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
For the mindset of the flesh [is] death, but the mindset of the Spirit [is] life and peace,
Now [may] the God of peace [be] with all of you. Amen.
And all these [things] [are] from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. read more. Therefore we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as [if] God were imploring [you] through us. We beg [you] on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made the one who did not know sin [to be] sin on our behalf, in order that we could become the righteousness of God in him.

For he himself is our peace, who made both one and broke down the dividing wall of the partition, the enmity, in his flesh, read more. invalidating the law of commandments in ordinances, in order that he might create the two in himself into one new man, [thus] making peace, and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, killing the enmity in himself. And coming, he proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to the ones who were near, because through him [we] both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

And the peace of Christ must rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
and one of you should say to them, "Go in peace, keep warm and {eat well}," but does not give them what is necessary for the body, what [is] the benefit?
Morish
This term is used to express the present attitude and testimony of God toward man consequent on the declaration of God's righteousness in the death of Christ. The state of man which was obnoxious to the holiness of God by reason of sin has been removed in the cross. Hence the believer is justified by faith, and has peace (peace of conscience) with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Ro 5:1. Christ made peace through the blood of the cross, Col 1:20 and to the Christian God is 'the God of peace,' and the Lord Jesus is 'the Lord of peace.' He also is peace between believers, having on the cross broken down the barrier between Jew and Gentile. Eph 2:14-15.
When the Lord Jesus left the earth He left to the disciples peace, and said, "My peace I give unto you." Peace is also spoken of as the state of heart in which a believer is kept in regard of circumstances. The record in the O.T. is, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace (peace, peace, margin) whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee." Isa 26:3. The Christian makes his requests known unto God, and the peace of God that passeth all understanding keeps his heart and mind through Christ Jesus (peace of heart). Php 4:6-7. Blessed privilege! and what a contrast to "There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." Isa 57:21 The Lord Jesus will, in the future, among His other titles, be hailed as PRINCE OF PEACE. Isa 9:6.
