But Paul said, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you very well know.

Then conferring with the sanhedrin, Festus answered, You have appealed to Caesar? To Caesar you shall go.

And one of them named Agabus stood up and signified by the Spirit that there should be great famine over the world (which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar).

whom Jason has received. And these all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.

Defending himself, Paul said, Neither against the Law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything.

But Paul having appealed to be reserved to the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be held until I might send him to Caesar.

And Agrippa said to Festus, This man might have been set at liberty if he had not appealed to Caesar.

saying, Fear not, Paul! You must stand before Caesar. And behold! God has given you all those who sail with you.

But the Jews speaking against it, I was constrained to appeal to Caesar; not as having anything to accuse my nation.
