They answered Him, "Appoint one of us to sit at your right side and the other at your left side [when you come] in splendor."

Now it happened on one of those days that Jesus entered a boat with His disciples. He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side" [i.e., the east side of Lake Galilee]; so they launched out.

And, this, was the work of the stand, there were, side walls, to them, - and, the side-walls, were between joining ledges;

sometimes being publicly exposed to insult and persecution; and at other times standing side by side with those who were so treated.

So, from now on we will not regard any person by worldly standards, even though we [once] regarded Christ that way. But we will not regard Him [that way] anymore. [Note: Paul seems to be saying that before his conversion he viewed Christ on the basis of His family, His education, His position, etc., but since his conversion he does not view Him that way anymore].

"Make a sign, carving it out and installing it at the junction on the way to the city. Set it to point one way for bringing the sword against Rabbah, the descendants of Ammon, and the other way against Judah and fortified Jerusalem.

The way of the upright is to turn away from evil; he who keeps his way guards his way.

You shall make two gold rings for it under its molding; you shall make them on its two side walls—on opposite sides—and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.

And one shall say, "Build up, build up! Clear [the] way! Remove [the] obstacles from the way of my people!"

For the word of the cross seems foolish to those who are on the way to destruction; but to us who are on the way to salvation it is the power of God.

For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the wicked is lost!

I have given you teaching in the way of wisdom, guiding your steps in the straight way.

It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
