And recognizing Him, the men of that place sent to all that neighborhood, and brought to Him all who were diseased.

And they begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His robe. And as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?

Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us.

And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they cast them down at Jesus' feet. And He healed them,

And His disciples said to Him, From where should we get so many loaves in the wilderness, so as to fill so great a crowd?

Then Peter took Him and began to rebuke Him, saying, God be gracious to You, Lord! This shall never be to You.

And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah talking with Him.

And His disciples asked Him, saying, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?

But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but have done to him whatever they desired. Likewise also the Son of Man shall suffer from them.

And when they came to the crowd, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,

And they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised again. And they grieved exceedingly.

He said, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? From their sons, or from strangers?

Peter said to Him, From strangers. Jesus said to him, Then truly the sons are free.

And Jesus called a little child to Him and set him in their midst,

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he neglects to hear the church, let him be to you as a heathen and a tax-collector.

And when he had begun to count, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

Then the servant fell down and worshiped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay you all.

But the same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe.

And his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, Have patience with me and I will pay you all.

Then his lord, after he had called him, said to him, O wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.

However, it shall not be so among you. But whoever desires to be great among you, let him be your servant.

And as they departed from Jericho, a great crowd followed Him.

And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

And they sent their disciples out to Him along with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and that you teach the way of God in truth. Nor do you care for anyone, for you do not regard the person of men.

When they heard these words, they marveled, and they left Him and went away.
