For trouble from God is a terror to me, and I could not do anything because of His highness.

if I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because my hand had gotten much;

And these three men ceased from answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

And burned the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram. His wrath burned against Job, because he had justified himself rather than God.

Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer and had condemned Job.

And Elihu had waited beside Job with words, because they were older than he in days.

Shall I wait because you do not speak, because they stand still, answering no more?

because thus they turned from following Him, and they did not consider all His ways;

Must He repay because you rejected it? For you must choose, and not I; therefore speak what you know.

Would that Job may be tried to the end because his answers are like men of iniquity.

From the host of tyrannies they cry out; they cry out because of the arm of the multitude.

There they cry, but He gives no answer, because of the pride of evildoers.

And now, because His anger has not visited, and He does not recognize stupidity,

Teach us what we shall say to Him; for because of darkness we cannot arrange our case.

You know, because you were born then. And the number of your days is great.

Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?

because God has caused her to forget wisdom, and He has not given her a share in understanding.

Lead me, O Jehovah, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face.

But let all who put their trust in You rejoice; let them always shout for joy, because You defend them. And let those who love Your name be joyful in You.

My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my enemies.

Arise, O Jehovah, in Your anger; lift up Yourself because of the rage of my enemies, and awake for me to the judgment which You have commanded.

Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings You have ordained strength, because of ones vexing You, to cause the enemy and the avenger to cease.

I will sing to Jehovah, because He has rewarded me.

You have shamed the counsel of the poor, because Jehovah is his refuge.

I have set Jehovah always before Me; because He is at My right hand, I shall not be moved.

Then the earth shook and trembled; and the foundations of the hills moved and were shaken, because He was angry.

He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.

Teach me Your way, O Jehovah, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.

Because they do not pay attention to the works of Jehovah and to the work of His hands, He shall destroy them and never build them up.

Blessed is Jehovah, because He has heard the voice of my prayers.

For my life is ending with grief, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones have wasted away.

For I have heard the slander of many; fear is on every side; because of their plottings together against me, they planned to take away my life.

For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we trust in His holy name.

Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of him who practices wickedness.

And Jehovah shall help them, and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; nor rest in my bones because of my sin.

My wounds have putrefied and rotted, because of my foolishness.

I am feeble and painfully broken; I have roared because of the groanings of my heart.

And those who give evil for good oppose me, because I follow good.

I was dumb, I did not open my mouth; because You have done it.

By this I know that You delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

I will say to God my rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the cruelty of the enemy?

For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your face, because You favored them.

because of the voice of the slanderer and the blasphemer; before the enemy and avenger.

And ride prosperously in Your majesty, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You fearful things.

Let the daughters of Judah shout for joy because of Your judgments!

I will praise You forever, because You have done it; and I will wait on Your name; for it is good before Your saints.

There they dreaded with dread, where no dread was; for God has scattered the bones of him who camps against you; you have put them to shame because God rejects them.

God shall hear and answer them, even He who is enthroned of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they do not fear God.

You have given a banner to those who fear You, to lift it up because of the truth. Selah.

Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.

Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.

Because of Your temple in Jerusalem, kings shall bring a present to You.

because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies.

because they did not believe in God, and did not trust in His salvation;

For all this they still sinned, and did not believe because of His wonderful works.

Show me a token for good, so that they who hate me may see and be ashamed; because You, Jehovah, have helped me and comforted me.

My eye mourns because of affliction; O Jehovah, I have called daily on You; I have stretched out my hands to You.

You shall not fear the terror by night; nor because of the arrow that flies by day;

Because You, O Jehovah, are My refuge; if You have made the Most High Your dwelling-place,

Because He has set His love on Me, therefore I will deliver Him; I will set Him on high, because He has known My name.

Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Your judgments, O Jehovah.

Because of the voice of my groaning, my bones hold fast to my skin.

because of Your anger and Your wrath; for You have lifted me up and cast me down.

because they provoked his spirit so that he spoke rashly with his lips.

because they rebelled against the Words of God, and despised the advice of the Most High.

Fools are afflicted because of their rebellion, and because of their iniquities.

They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble.

And they are glad because they are quiet; so He brings them to their desired haven.

a fruitful land to a salty desert, because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

because he did not remember to do mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, and sought to kill the broken-hearted.

But You, Lord Jehovah, deal kindly with me for Your name's sake; because Your mercy is good, deliver me.

I love Jehovah because He hears my voice and my prayers.

Because He has bowed down His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him in my days.

O give thanks to Jehovah; for He is good; because His mercy endures forever.

Horror has taken hold on me because of the wicked who forsake Your Law.

This was done to me, because I kept Your Commandments.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You because of Your righteous judgments.

They who fear You will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in Your Word.

I understand more than the old men, because I keep Your Commandments.

Rivers of water run down my eyes, because they do not keep Your Law.

My zeal has eaten me up, because my enemies have forgotten Your Words.

I saw the traitors, and was grieved because they did not keep Your Word.

I praise You seven times a day because of Your righteous judgments.

Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek your good.

because their mouth has spoken vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of lies.

Rescue me, and deliver me from the hand of foreigners' sons, because their mouth has spoken vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood;

Because I called, and you refused; I stretched out my hand, and no one paid attention;

The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them, because they refuse to do judgment.

Do not rob the poor, because he is poor; nor press down the afflicted in the gate;

My son, eat honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb is sweet to your palate;

Do not fret yourself because of evil ones, nor be jealous of the wicked;

Because of the transgression of a land, many are its rulers; but it is prolonged by a man of discernment who knows right.

Therefore I hated life; because the work that is done under the sun is sad to me; for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.

For he shall not much remember the days of his life, because God answers him in the joy of his heart.

I say, Keep the king's word, and that, because of the oath of God.

Because the word of a king is that which has power; and who may say to him, What are you doing?

Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great on him.
