So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.

Then I answered, and said to him, What are these two olive-trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon its left side?

And I answered again, and said to him, What are these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

And he said to me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said to me, Lift up now thy eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

Then I answered and said to the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

And one shall say to him, What are these wounds in thy hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like to children sitting in the markets, and calling to their fellows,

But he said to them, Have ye not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him;

So when his fellow-servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.

The young man saith to him, All these things have I kept from my youth: what lack I yet?

Then answered Peter, and said to him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee? what shall we have therefore?

And he said to her, What wilt thou: She saith to him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left in thy kingdom.

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say to him, We are able.

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do to you?

And said to him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith to them, Yes: have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

And when he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things; and who gave thee this authority?

And Jesus answered and said to them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go, work to-day in my vineyard.

When therefore the Lord of the vineyard cometh, what will he do to those husbandmen?

Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute to Cesar, or not?

Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say to him, The son of David.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken up.

And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast what is thine.

But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

And said, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him to you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

And he cometh to the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith to Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

And the high priest arose, and said to him, Answerest thou nothing, what is it which these testify against thee?

Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

Pilate saith to them, What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all say to him, Let him be crucified.

And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

And when the sabbath was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given to him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
