I pray for these: I pray not for the world; but for those whom thou hast given me, because they are thine:

And now I come to thee; and speak these things in the world, that they may have my joy complete in themselves.

and I sanctify myself in their behalf, in order that they may also be sanctified through the truth.

And I not only pray for these, but also for those believing on me through their word;

I made known thy name to them, and will make it known; in order that the love with which thou didst love me may be in them, and I in them.
