But when thou keepest a fast, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

For this is he of whom it is written, "Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee."

And he was transformed before them; and his face shone as the sun, and his garments were white as the light.

And the disciples hearing it, fell on their face, and were exceedingly affrighted.

See that ye despise not one of these little ones, for I say unto you, That their angels in heaven continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.
