Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are disorderly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be patient towards all men.

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

But he that prophesieth, speaketh to men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

So that on the other hand, ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such one should be swallowed up with excessive sorrow.

Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

But now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? But because I have said these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I depart; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. read more.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to publish good tidings to the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Wherefore, comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
