'Honor' in the Bible
Haman told the king, “For the man the king wants to honor:
Put the garment and the horse under the charge of one of the king’s most noble officials. Have them clothe the man the king wants to honor, parade him on the horse through the city square, and proclaim before him, ‘This is what is done for the man the king wants to honor.’”
So Haman took the garment and the horse. He clothed Mordecai and paraded him through the city square, crying out before him, “This is what is done for the man the king wants to honor.”
and the Jews celebrated with gladness, joy, and honor.
If his sons receive honor, he does not know it;if they become insignificant, he is unaware of it.
You have closed their minds to understanding,therefore You will not honor them.
No one remembers him anywhere in the land; no one names streets in his honor.
He has stripped me of my honorand removed the crown from my head.
‘My glory and honor are fresh in me [being constantly renewed],And my bow gains [ever] new strength in my hand.’

Adorn yourself with majesty and splendor,and clothe yourself with honor and glory.
How long, exalted men, will my honor be insulted?How long will you love what is worthlessand pursue a lie?Selah
may an enemy pursue and overtake me;may he trample me to the groundand leave my honor in the dust.Selah
You made him little less than Godand crowned him with glory and honor.
His glory is great because of your deliverance, you have given him honor and majesty.

Sing praises about the majesty of his reputation! Give him the honor he deserves!
May God bless us! Then all the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves.
My mouth is full of praiseand honor to You all day long.
