'Wrath' in the Bible
But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of vipers, who has forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath?
He said therefore to the crowds which went out to be baptised by him, Offspring of vipers, who has forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath?
But woe to them that are with child and to them who give suck in those days, for there shall be great distress upon the land and wrath upon this people.
He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.
And the high priest rising up, and all they that were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees, were filled with wrath,
For there is revealed wrath of God from heaven upon all impiety, and unrighteousness of men holding the truth in unrighteousness.

For law works wrath; but where no law is neither is there transgression.
Much rather therefore, having been now justified in the power of his blood, we shall be saved by him from wrath.
And if God, minded to shew his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted for destruction;
not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.
for it is God's minister to thee for good. But if thou practisest evil, fear; for it bears not the sword in vain; for it is God's minister, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil.
Wherefore it is necessary to be subject, not only on account of wrath, but also on account of conscience.

because God has not set us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
