You let people ride over our heads. We went through fire and water, but then you brought us out and refreshed us.
For you threw me into the deep, in the heart of the seas. The current was all around me. All your waves, your huge breakers passed over me!

Young lions go hungry and may starve, but those who seek Jehovah's help have all the good things they need.
If you faithfully obey my commandments that I give you today, love Jehovah your God, and serve him with all your heart and with all your being, I will send rain on your land at the proper time, both in the fall and in the spring. Jesus answered: Whoever drinks from this water will thirst again. But whoever drinks from the water that I give him will never thirst. The water that I will give him will be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Our light affliction is for the moment. It works more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory for us.
Blessed is the person whom God corrects. Do not despise discipline from the Almighty.
But He knows the way I walk. He has tried me. I shall come forth as gold.
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.
It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting. That is the end for all men and the living takes it to heart.

They strengthened the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith. They said, We must enter the kingdom of God through much tribulation.

Not only that, but we also rejoice in our tribulations knowing that tribulation produces endurance.
I know your troubles. I know that you are poor, but you are rich! I know the evil things said against you by those who claim to be Jews but are not. Their synagogue belongs to Satan!
There will be great tribulation. It will be greater than any has ever been from the beginning of the world until now.
When you are in trouble (distress) and all these things happen to you in the latter days, turn to Jehovah your God and obey his voice.
When we were with you, we told you that we would suffer tribulation and affliction. It happened, as you know.
