But thou, when fasting, anoint thy head and wash thy face,

this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.

and in the morning, A storm to-day, for the sky is red and lowering; ye know how to discern the face of the sky, but ye cannot the signs of the times.
