And some of those who were with us went to the sepulchre, and found every thing just as the women had said: but him they did not see.
[Immediately] their eyes were opened [i.e., they were given insight] so they could recognize Him. And [just then] He disappeared from their view [Note: The Greek says, "became invisible," suggesting that He vanished miraculously].
Just as they were speaking He stood among them [and said to them, "Peace to you!"]
The real light, which sheds light upon everyone, was just coming into the world.
He said, "I [am] 'the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, "Make straight the way of the Lord," ' just as Isaiah the prophet said."
These things happened in Bethany on the east side of the Jordan River where John was immersing people. [Note: This was a different Bethany from the one just outside of Jerusalem].
Jesus said to him, "Do you believe [in me just] because I told you, 'I saw you under that fig tree'? You will see [even] greater things than these [happen]."
As soon as the manager tasted the water just turned into wine, without knowing where it came from, although the servants who had drawn the water did know, he called the bridegroom
The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the sound of it, but knowest not from whence it cometh, nor whither it goeth: just so is every one who is born of the Spirit.
And just as Moses in the desert lifted the serpent on the pole, the Son of Man must be lifted up,
and Jacob's spring was there. So Jesus, tired from His journey, was sitting by the spring just as He was. It was about noon.
Jesus answered her, "If you just knew what God has to give and who it is that said to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have been the one to ask Him, and He would have given you living water."
But a time is coming -- indeed, it is already here -- when the real worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and reality, for the Father is looking for just such worshipers.
Just then His disciples came up, and they were surprised to find Him talking with a woman, yet not one of them asked Him, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?"
and they told the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; for [now] we have heard Him for ourselves and know [with confident assurance] that this One is truly the Savior of [all] the world.”
The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I do not have anyone to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but [just] when I am about to enter [it] someone else goes down [into the water] before me."
For just as the Father raises the dead and makes [them] alive, thus also the Son makes alive whomever he wishes.
in order that all may honour the Son, just as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son, doth not honour the Father who sent him.
For just as the Father has life in himself, thus also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself.

Jesus answered them, "I have done just one deed, and yet you are all dumbfounded!
Be not judging according to appearance, but, just judgment, be judging,
Just look! He is talking in public, and yet they do not say a word to Him! It cannot be that the authorities have really learned that He is the Christ, can it?
Then Jesus said to them, "Just a little while longer I am to be with you, and then I am going back to Him who has sent me.
the one who believes in me. Just as the scripture said, 'Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.'"
but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. [Note: This was located on a slope just east of Jerusalem].
And even if I do judge, my judgement is just; for I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me.
then said they to him, what art thou? and Jesus answered them, I am what I just now told you.
Then Jesus said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will recognize that I am [he], and I do nothing from myself, but just as the Father taught me, I say these [things].
Other people said, "[Yes], that is him," while [still] others said, "No, [it is not]; he [just] looks like him." The man said, "I am the one, [all right]."
He answered them - I told you just now, and ye did not hear: Why, again, do ye wish to hear? Are, ye also, wishing to become, his disciples?
just because he is a hired man, who has no interest in the sheep.
just as the Father knows me and I know the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep.
The disciples say unto him, Rabbi, the Jews have just now sought to stone thee; and art thou going thither again?
So, when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went [out to the edge of town. See verse 30] to meet Him, but Mary [just] sat at home [i.e., probably grief-stricken].
And not just [die] for the [Jewish] nation, but also that He would assemble together into one body the children of God who were scattered [throughout the world].
And Jesus, finding a young ass, took his seat thereon, just as it is written -
And I know that what he commands brings eternal life. What I speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me."
Now just before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour was come when he should leave this world to go to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, showed forth his love to the end.
Jesus answered him, "You do not understand just now what I am doing, but you will understand it later on."
Simon Peter told him, "Lord, not just my feet, but my hands and my head as well!"
For I have given you an example, that just as I have done to you, ye should do also.
So that disciples just leaned back against Jesus' breast and said to him, "Lord, who is it?"
When, therefore, he had gone out, Jesus saith - Just now, was, the Son of Man, glorified, and, God, was glorified in him;
Dear children! Yet a little, am I, with you. Ye shall seek me, and, just as I said unto the Jews, Whither, I, go, ye, cannot come, unto you also, I say it, even now.
I'm giving you a new commandment"to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus answered, "I am going where you cannot follow me just now, but you will later follow me."
"Lord," said Peter, "why cannot I follow you just now? I will lay down my life for you."
But, that the world may get to know that I love the Father, and just as the Father hath given me commandment, so, I do. Be rousing yourselves! let us be leading on from hence.
"Abide in me, and I will abide in you. Just as the branch cannot produce fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.
Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. So abide in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you'll abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, just as I have loved you.
I have many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them just now.
"In just a little while you will not see me any longer; and yet, in just a little while after you will see me again."
So some of His disciples said to one another, "What does He mean by telling us, 'In just a little while you will not see me, and yet in just a little while after you will see me again,' and 'Because I am going away to the Father'?"
Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him a question, and so He said to them, "Are you inquiring of one another about this saying of mine, 'In just a little while you will not see me, and yet in just a little while after you will see me again'?
So with you. Just now you are in sorrow, but I shall see you again and your heart will rejoice ??with a joy that no one can take from you.
just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.
So now, Father, glorify me up there in your presence just as you did before the world existed.
I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.
I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I don't belong to the world.

He said this that the statement He had just made might be fulfilled, "I have not lost one of those whom you have given me."
So they said to one another, "Do not let us tear it. Let us draw lots for it." This happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says, "They shared my garments among them, and drew lots for my clothing." That was just what the soldiers did.
So they received the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen-bandages with the spices, - just as it is, a custom, with the Jews to prepare for burial.
Because of the preparation of the Jews therefore, they laid Jesus there; for the sepulchre was just by.
But Mary stood just outside the tomb and kept weeping. So, as she was weeping, she stooped down and peered into the tomb
Jesus told them again, "Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent me, so I am sending you."
Just a week later the disciples were in the room again and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were bolted, Jesus came in and stood among them, and said, "Peace be with you!"
Just as dawn was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore. The disciples didn't realize it was Jesus.
Jesus told them, "Bring me some of the fish you've just caught."
up until the day He returned to heaven. [Just before that time] He had given [certain] instructions to His [specially] selected apostles through [the direction of] the Holy Spirit.
For [Jesus had said, Matt. 3:11], "John immersed you [men] in water but [this time] you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit, and [it will happen] in just a few more days."
And when Jesus had said these things, just as the apostles were watching [Him], He was taken up by a cloud [and disappeared] out of their sight.
As he went up, their eyes were fixed on heaven; but just then two men stood beside them dressed in white,
and they said: "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into the sky will come back in just the same way as you have seen him going into the sky."
When there came suddenly out of heaven a sound, just as of a mighty rushing wind, - -and it filled all the house where they were sitting;
And they were all filled with Holy Spirit, and began to be speaking with other kinds of tongues just as the Spirit was giving unto them to be sounding forth.
But others made fun of them, saying, "Oh, they are just drunk [i.e., full of new wine]."
Ye men of Israel! hear these words: - Jesus the Nazarene, a man pointed out of God unto you by mighty works and wonders and signs, which God did through him in your midst, just as ye yourselves know,
They would sell their lands and other property, and distribute the proceeds among all, just as any one from time had need.
One day Peter and John were going up to the Temple for the hour of prayer--the ninth hour--and, just then,
who seeing Peter and John just going into the temple, asked to receive alms.
But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
