Simon Peter answered Him, "To whom can we go, Lord? You have the message that gives eternal life,
So his brothers said to him, "Depart from here and go to Judea, so that your disciples also can see your works that you are doing.
for nobody who aims at public recognition ever keeps his actions secret. Since you can do these deeds, display yourself to the world"
The world can not hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that its works are evil.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world: the one following me can not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of the life.
Then said Jesus again unto them, "I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins. Whither I go thither can ye not come."
Then said the Jews, "Will he kill himself? Because he saith, 'Whither I go, thither can ye not come?'"
“We are descendants
Why do you not know what I say? Because you can not understand my words.
which of you can convict me of sin? if then I say the truth, why don't you believe me?
Jesus answered, "It was neither for his own sin nor for that of his parents, but to let what God can do be illustrated in his case.
We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
So they said to him, "Then how does it happen that you can see?"
So again the Pharisees asked him how he received his sight.
“He put mud on my eyes,” he told them. “I washed and I can see.”
Some therefore of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he keepeth not the sabbath. But others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such signs? And there was division among them.
and asked them, "Is this your son, and do you affirm that he was born blind? If so, how is it then that he now can see?"
But by what means he now seeth, that can we not tell: or who hath opened his eyes, can we not tell. He is old enough, ask him, let him answer for himself, of things that pertain to himself."
He answered, “Whether or not He’s a sinner, I don’t know. One thing I do know: I was blind, and now I can see!”
He answered. "I have told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you wish to hear it again? Can it be that you, too, wish to become his disciples?"
He answered, "Who is he, sir? [Tell me], so I can believe in him."
And Jesus said, "I came to this world to judge [it], so that people who can not see [spiritually] will [be able to] see; and those who [think they can] see [spiritually] will become blind."
Jesus answered them, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty, but now you keep on claiming, 'We can see'; so your sin remains."
The thief {comes only} so that he can steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and have [it] abundantly.
The Father loves me because I [am about to] give up my life, so that I can take it back again.

Peter said to Him, "You must never wash my feet!" Jesus answered, "Unless I do wash you, you can have no share with me."

the Spirit of the truth, whom the world can not receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, because he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
be attach'd to me, and I shall be so to you. as the branch cannot bear fruit of it self, except it be attach'd to the vine: so neither can you, except you continue attach'd to me.
I am the vine, you are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for independent of me ye can do nothing.
If you remain in [fellowship with] me and my teaching remains in your hearts, [you can] ask for whatever you want, and it will be done for you.

When the high priests and attendants saw Him, they shouted, "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I can find no ground for a charge against Him."

Jesus said to him a third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because the third time Jesus asked him if he loved him, and he answered, "Master, you know everything, you can see that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Then feed my sheep!
