Blessed are you, land, when your king is the son of nobles, and your princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness.

My dove, my perfect one, is unique. She is her mother's only daughter. She is the favorite one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed; the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations:

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose trust the LORD is.

Cursed is the day in which I was born: do not let the day in which my mother bore me be blessed.

Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, saying, "Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place."

"Blessed are you when men insult you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

And blessed is he who is not offended by me."

"But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds.

Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Turning to the disciples, he said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,

It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the crowd lifted up her voice, and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you."

But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord will find watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, that he will dress himself, and make them recline, and will come and serve them.

and you will be blessed, because they do not have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous."

When one of those who sat at the table with him heard these things, he said to him, "Blessed is he who will eat bread in the Kingdom of God."

saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest."

For look, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.'

He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
