As a ravening and a roaring

He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
And as for me, you are my support in my righteousness, giving me a place before your face for ever.
In the day-time will Jehovah command his loving-kindness, and in the night his song shall be with me, a prayer unto the God of my life.
as if crushing my bones,
while all day long they say to me,
“Where is your God?”
For every wild animal in the forest belongs to me, as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills.

and listened to me. As long as I live, I will call to him when I need help.
I made my prayer to the Lord in my trouble: and the Lord gave me an answer, and put me in a wide place.
