This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye should no longer walk as the rest of the nations walk in the vanity of their mind,

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in mind by wicked works, yet now has it reconciled

All things are pure to the pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

For they that are according to flesh mind the things of the flesh; and they that are according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace. Yea, thou heardest not, yea, thou knewest not, yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest ever deal treacherously, and thou wast called a transgressor from the womb.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Yet a senseless man will make bold, though man be born like the foal of a wild ass.
