'Account' in the Bible
But a certain writer has given his witness, saying, What is man, that you keep him in mind? what is the son of man, that you take him into account?
but we see Jesus, who was made some little inferior to angels on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; so that by the grace of God he should taste death for every thing.
And we see that they could not enter in on account of unbelief;)
Seeing therefore it remains that some enter into it, and those who first received the glad tidings did not enter in on account of not hearkening to the word,
No creature is hidden from Him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.
and, on account of this infirmity, he ought, even as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

and the Lord God sanctify in your hearts. And be ready always for defence to every one who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
If you are reviled on account of the name of Christ, [you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him , I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand ye fast therein.
But I account it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance,
The Lord does not delay his promise, as some account of delay, but is longsuffering towards you, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!
