“When you sound short blasts, the camps pitched on the east are to set out.
When you sound short blasts a second time, the camps pitched on the south are to set out. Short blasts are to be sounded for them to set out.
And in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings and over your sacrifices of peace-offering; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.
so the Israelis set out from the Sinai Wilderness until the cloud settled in the Paran Wilderness,
They set out for the first time according to the Lord’s command through Moses.
The military divisions of the camp of Judah with their banner set out first, and Nahshon son of Amminadab was over Judah’s divisions.
And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.
And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
They set out from the mountain of the Lord on a three-day journey with the ark of the Lord’s covenant traveling ahead of them for those three days to seek a resting place for them.
Meanwhile, the cloud of the Lord was over them by day when they set out from the camp.
And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
Then a wind set out from Yahweh, and it drove quails from the west, and he spread [them] out on the camp about a day's journey on one side and about a day's journey on the other, all around the camp, about two cubits on the surface of the land.
From Kibroth-hattaavah the people set out for Hazeroth, and they remained at Hazeroth.
So Miriam was confined to the outside place of the camp seven days, and the people did not set out until Miriam was gathered.
After that, the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.
Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites live in the valleys; turn tomorrow and set out to the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.”
and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock,
then, when you eat the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering (heave offering) to the Lord.
You shall lift up a cake made of the first of your [ground grain which has been made into] dough as an offering [to the Lord]; as an offering from the threshing floor, so shall you lift it up.
Then he said to Korah and all his followers, “Tomorrow morning the Lord will reveal who belongs to Him, who is set apart, and the one He will let come near Him. He will let the one He chooses come near Him.
place fire in them and put incense on them before the Lord. Then the man the Lord chooses will be the one who is set apart. It is you Levites who have gone too far!”
[Is it] too little for you that the God of Israel set you apart from the community of Israel {to allow you to approach him} to do the work of the tabernacle of Yahweh, to stand {before} the community to serve them?
So everyone took his censer, put fire in it, and set incense on it, and stood at the entrance of the tent of meeting, with Moses and Aaron.
So Aaron took the censer, just as Moses had spoken, and ran out to the center of the assembly, where a plague had begun among the people. He set the incense on fire and atoned for the people.
Because the Israelis argued with the LORD and he was set apart among them, this place was called the Meribah Springs.
After they set out from Kadesh, the entire Israelite community came to Mount Hor.
Then they set out from Mount Hor by way of the Red Sea to bypass the land of Edom, but the people became impatient because of the journey.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
And Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it came about, that if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.
And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.
They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim in the wilderness that borders Moab on the east.
From there they set out and camped in Wadi Zered.
They set out from there and camped on the other side of the Arnon River, in the wilderness that extends from the Amorite border, because the Arnon was the Moabite border between Moab and the Amorites.
And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.
And God's anger was kindled because he went; and the Angel of Jehovah set himself in the way to withstand him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two young men were with him.
Now God met Balaam, and he said to Him, “I have set up the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on each altar.”
And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
Next he saw the Kenites and proclaimed his poem:Your dwelling place is enduring;your nest is set in the cliffs.
Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, my bread for my offerings by fire of sweet odour to me, shall ye take heed to present to me at their set time.
These things ye shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
Set aside a tribute for the Lord from what belongs to the fighting men who went out to war: one out of every 500 humans, cattle, donkeys, sheep, and goats.
From half of the share of the Israelis that Moses had set aside from the soldiers,
They set out from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the Israelites moved out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians,
Then the Israelites moved out from Rameses [where they had all joined together], and camped in Succoth.
They moved out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, east of Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.
They set out from Pi-Hahiroth and went through the midst of the sea into the desert; and they went a journey of three days into the desert of Etham and camped at Marah.
They set out from Marah and came to Elim, and in Elim [there were] twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
They moved out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds).
They set out from the desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
They moved out from Alush and camped at Rephidim; now it was there that the people had no water to drink.
The set out from the desert of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.

They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, the boundary of Moab.
They set out from Almon-Diblatayim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped on the desert-plateau of Moab by the Jordan [across] Jericho.
"Instruct the Israelis to set aside a portion of their inheritance for the descendants of Levi to live in, along with grazing land surrounding their towns.
You are to set aside six towns of refuge from the towns that you will be giving to the descendants of Levi, where someone who kills a human being may run for shelter. In addition, give them 42 other towns.
You are to apportion the towns that you will be giving the Israelis according to the relative size of the tribe. Take a larger portion from those larger in number and a lesser portion from those fewer in number. Each is to set aside towns for the descendants of Levi proportional to the size of their inheritance that they receive."
Turn and set your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites, and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negev and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Give for yourselves men, wise and intelligent, and known to your tribes, and I set them for your heads;
“So I took the leaders of your tribes, wise and respected men, and set them over you as leaders: officials for thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, and officers for your tribes.
“We then set out from Horeb and went across all the great and terrible wilderness you saw on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, just as the Lord our God had commanded us. When we reached Kadesh-barnea,
