And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Behold my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father [who is] in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother."

But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' because one is your teacher, and you are all brothers, And do not call [anyone] your father on earth, for one is your heavenly Father.

Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid! Go tell my brothers that they should go to Galilee, and there they will see me."

"A new commandment I give to you: that you love one another--just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples--if you have love for one another."

being devoted to one another in brotherly love, esteeming one another [more highly] in honor,

rejoicing in hope, enduring in affliction, being devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality.

If [it is] possible on your [part], be at peace with all people. Do not take revenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to [God's] wrath, for it is written, "Vengeance [is] mine, I will repay," says the Lord. read more. But "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him [something] to drink; for [by] doing this, you will heap up coals of fire upon his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another, for the one who loves someone else has fulfilled the law. For the [commandments], "You shall not commit adultery, you shall not commit murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet," and if [there is] any other commandment, are summed up in this statement: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." read more. But by much more the members of the body which are thought to be weaker are necessary, and [the parts] of the body which we think to be less honorable, these we clothe with more abundant honor, and our unpresentable [parts] come to have more abundant presentability, but our presentable [parts] do not have need [of this]. Yet God composed the body by giving more abundant honor to the part which lacked [it], in order that there not be a division in the body, but the members would have the same concern for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer together; if a member is honored, all the members rejoice with [it]. Now you are the body of Christ, and members {of it individually},

And because you are sons, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, "Abba! (Father!)," so that you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, also an heir through God.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not let your freedom [become] an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." read more. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all [people], and especially to those who belong to the household of faith.

And to all these [things] [add] love, which is [the] bond of perfection.

But concerning brotherly love, I do not have need to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,

For God [is] not unjust, [so as] to forget your work and the love which you demonstrated for his name [by] having served the saints, and continuing to serve [them].

And do not neglect doing good and generosity, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar, for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen is not able to love God whom he has not seen. And this [is] the commandment we have from him: that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

saying, "What you see, write in a book and send [it] to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea."
