Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell everything you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come back here and follow me."
Do not accept gold or silver or even copper money for your purse,
So I was afraid, and went off and buried your thousand dollars in the ground. Here is your money.'
Surely it could have been sold for a large sum and the money given to the poor."
Then he tossed the money into the temple and left, and went off and hanged himself.
