The woman said to him: Sir, you have ho vessel with which you can draw, and the well is deep; whence have you that living water?

The woman said to him: Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come hither to draw.

The woman said to him: Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

The courtier said to him: Sir, come down before my child die.

The sick man answered him: Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred; but while I am coming, another goes down before me.

She said: No one, sir. Jesus said to her: Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more.

He answered and said: Who is he, sir, that I may believe on him?

These then came to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying: Sir, we wish to see Jesus.

But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Verily, verily I say to you, you shall weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow, be cause her hour has come; but when the child is born, she no longer remembers the pain, for joy that a man is born into the world.

You, therefore, have sorrow now; but I shall see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one takes from you.

Jesus said to her: "Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Supposing that it was the gardener, she said to him: Sir, if you have taken him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.
