For we are not writing [anything] else to you except what you can read or also understand. But I hope that you will understand {completely},

It was because I was sure of this that I wanted to come to see you before going anywhere else, to give you a double pleasure;

So forgive and comfort him, or else he will drown in his excessive grief.

Just as you excel in everything else??aith, expression, knowledge, perfect devotion, and the love we have awakened in you??ou must excel in this generous undertaking too.

Because your service in giving proves your love, you will be glorifying God as you obey what your confession of the Messiah's gospel demands, since you are generous in sharing with them and with everyone else.

Then we can preach the gospel in the regions far beyond you without boasting about things already accomplished by someone else.

I say again, lest any man think that I am foolish: or else even now take me as a fool, that I may boast myself a little.

To my shame I must admit that I was too weak for that sort of thing. But whatever anyone else dares to boast of?? am playing the part of a fool?? will dare to boast of too.

And besides everything else, the thing that burdens me every day is my anxiety about all the churches.
