I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
And a voice came to my ears saying, Come, Peter; take them for food.
And I said, By no means, Lord: for anything common or unclean never came into my month.
Then a second time there came a voice from the heavens. "What God has pronounced 'clean'," it said, "you must not call 'defiled'."
And at that minute, three men, sent from Caesarea, came to the house where we were.
And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing. And these six brothers came with me; and we went into that man's house:
“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came down on them, just as on us at the beginning.
Then came to my remembrance the words of the Lord, how he said, 'John baptised with water, but ye shall be baptised with the holy ghost.'
Those, indeed, therefore, having been scattered abroad, from the tribulation that came after Stephen, went through unto Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to none except to Jews only;
But there were some of them, Cypriot and Cyrenian men, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Hellenists,
The power of the Lord was with them, so that a great number who had learned to believe came over to the Lord's side.
Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
for he was an excellent man, full of the holy Spirit and faith. So a considerable number of people came over to the Lord.
And Barnabas came forth to Tarsus, to seek Saul
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
And he came out, and followed him: and wist not that it was truth which was done by the angel; but thought he had seen a vision.
When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel and rescued me from Herod’s grasp and from all that the Jewish people expected.”
And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
Now [when] day came, there was not a little commotion among the soldiers [as to] what then had become of Peter.
And [when] Herod had searched for him and did not find [him], he questioned the guards [and] ordered [that they] be led away to execution. And he came down from Judea to Caesarea [and] stayed [there].
And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.
And straight away the angel of the Lord sent a disease on him, because he did not give the glory to God: and his flesh was wasted away by worms, and so he came to his end.
And Barnabas and Saul came back from Jerusalem, when their work was ended, taking with them John named Mark.
Being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they came down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.
And [when they] came to Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they also had John [as] assistant.
When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came across a sorcerer, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus.
And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.
The governor, because he saw what had occurred, was thunderstruck at the Lord's teaching, and so came to believe.
Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
Before He came to public attention,
And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
Now David, having done God's work for his generation, went to sleep, and was put with his fathers, and his body came to destruction:
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
And the multitudes who saw what Paul did, lifted up their voice, speaking Lycaonian, The gods came down to us, having become like men.

Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and when they had won over the crowds and stoned Paul, they dragged him out of the city, thinking he was dead.
Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia.
and having spoken the word in Perga, they came down to Attalia;
And when they came there, and had got the church together, they gave them an account of all the things which God had done through them, and how he had made open a door of faith to the Gentiles.

And when they came to Jerusalem, they had a meeting with the church and the Apostles and the rulers, and they gave an account of all the things which God had done through them.
Some of the Pharisees' party, however, who had become believers in Christ, came forward and declared that they were bound to circumcise converts and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses.
And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

And when they had passed through Phrygia and Galatia, being forbidden by the holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia, they came to Mysia, and endeavoured to go to Bithynia:
When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus
So, bypassing Mysia, they came down to Troas.
And Paul had a vision in the night; a man of Macedonia came, requesting him, and saying, Come over into Macedonia and give us help.
Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;
We then came to the Roman colony of Philippi, which is the foremost town of the district of Macedonia. In this town we spent some days.
on the sabbath-day also we went forth outside of the city, by a river, where there used to be prayer, and having sat down, we were speaking to the women who came together,
so we took our places, and convers'd with the women, that came there. one of them was nam'd Lydia of Thyatira, a trader in purple, and a Jewish proselyte. she heard us: and the Lord inclin'd her heart to attend to what Paul said.
And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
She came after Paul and us, crying out and saying, These men are the servants of the Most High God, who are giving you news of the way of salvation.
And she did this for many days.
But Paul was greatly aggravated and turning to the spirit, said, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out right away.
And he came out that instant. And when her masters saw, that the hope of their gain was gone, they seized on Paul and Silas, and dragged them into the court to the magistrates.
And the multitude came together against them, and the prefects tearing off their clothes gave orders to beat them with rods,
Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the jail were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains came loose.
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
When daylight came, the chief magistrates sent the police to say, “Release those men!”
So they came and apologized to them, and escorting them out, they urged them to leave town.
After leaving the jail, they came to Lydia’s house where they saw and encouraged the brothers, and departed.
Then they traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia and came to Thessalonica,
And according to custom to Paul, he came in unto them, and for three Sabbaths he expounded unto them from the scriptures,
And some of them believed and came and companied with Paul and Silas. Also of the honorable Greeks, a great multitude; and of the chief women, not a few.
And the brothers straight away sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea: and they, when they came there, went to the Synagogue of the Jews.
Many of them came to believe, and not a few distinguished Greek women and men.
But when the Jews from Thessalonica found out that God’s message had been proclaimed by Paul at Berea, they came there too, agitating and disturbing
And they that guided Paul brought him unto Athens, and received a commandment unto Silas and Timothy for to come to him at once. And came their way.
Then he disputed in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons; And in the market daily with them that came unto him.
Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also came across him. Some said, "Whatever does the fellow mean with his scraps of learning'?" Others said, "He looks like a herald of foreign deities" (this was because he preached 'Jesus' and 'the Resurrection').
For when I came by, I was looking at the things to which you give worship, and I saw an altar with this writing on it, TO THE GOD OF WHOM THERE IS NO KNOWLEDGE. Now, what you, without knowledge, give worship to, I make clear to you.
Some men, however, joined him and came to believe, among them Dionysius, a member of the city council; also a woman named Damaris, and some others.
After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
where he found a Jewish man named Aquila,

And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
And he departed from Ephesus and came unto Caesarea: and ascended and saluted the congregation,
And having made a certain time, he came out, passing in order the Galatian country and Phrygia, supporting all the disciples.
