And no lie has ever been found upon their lips: they are faultless.

He said with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters."

Another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality."

And a third angel came after them, saying with a loud voice, If any man gives worship to the beast and his image, and has his mark on his brow or on his hand,

will drink the wine of God's wrath, which has been poured undiluted into the cup of his anger. He will be tortured with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the lamb.

And the smoke of their torment goes up until the Ages of the Ages; and the worshipers of the Wild Beast and his statue have no rest day or night, nor has any one who receives the mark of his name.

Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe."

Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for it's grapes are fully ripe."

Then I saw another marvel in Heaven, great and wonderful--there were seven angels bringing seven plagues. These are the last plagues, because in them God's anger has found full expression.

Who will not fear and give glory to your name, Lord? For you alone are holy. All the heathen will come and worship before you, for the justice of your sentences has now been shown."

And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, O Lord, who art, and who wast, even the holy one, because thou hast judged these things.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

People were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.

The seventh angel threw the contents of his bowl across the sky. A loud voice came from the throne in the Temple and said, "It has happened!"

Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder, and there was a great earthquake; there has never been such an earthquake since man first existed upon the earth, it was so great.

The angel said to me, "Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come.

Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.

They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.

Then he said to me, the waters which you saw, where the prostitute has her seat, are the people, the multitude, nations, and provinces.

For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth."

He shouted with a mighty voice, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean bird, and a prison of every unclean and detestable beast.

For she has made all nations drink of the maddening wine of her lewdness; and the kings of the earth have practiced lewdness with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the power of her voluptuousness.

for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Pay her back in her own coin, and give her double for what she has done. In the cup she mixed for others, mix her a double draught.

The more she has given herself to pride and luxury the more you must give her torture and grief. Because she says to herself, 'I sit on a throne; I am not a widow, I shall never have any sorrow,'

Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire; for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city. For your judgment has come in one hour.'

And the traders of the earth are weeping and crying over her, because no man has any more desire for their goods,

And the fruit of your soul's desire has gone from you, and all things delicate and shining have come to an end and will never again be seen.

for in a single hour this vast wealth has been destroyed!' All navigators and all who travel by sea, sailors and sea-faring men, stood a long way off

They threw dust on their heads and wept and mourned, crying out, 'Alas! Alas for the great city, where all who had ships on the sea grew rich through her extravagance! For in a single hour she has been destroyed!'

"Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets; for God has judged your judgment on her."

in her has been found the blood of prophets, saints, and all who have been slaughtered on the earth."

for true and righteous are his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand."

Then I heard something like the shout of a great multitude and the roar of many waters and the peal of mighty thunders, saying: "Praise the Lord! For the Lord, our Almighty God, has now begun to reign!

Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready."

She has been permitted to wear clean, glistening linen, for linen represents the upright deeds of God's people."

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and crowns are on his head; and he has a name in writing, of which no man has knowledge but himself.

He has been clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood; and the name by which he is called is 'The Word of God.'

And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword, with which he overcomes the nations: and he has rule over them with a rod of iron: and he is crushing with his feet the grapes of the strong wrath of God the Ruler of all.

He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords."

and hurled him into the abyss and he closed it and sealed it over him, to keep him from leading the heathen astray any longer, until the thousand years are over; after that he has to be released for a little while.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

And I saw dead people, the most important and the least significant ones, standing in front of the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life [Note: This refers to a record of those to whom God has granted never ending life]. And these dead people [i.e., who have now been resurrected] were judged according to their deeds, based on what was recorded in the books.

Then I saw new heavens and a new earth. The former heavens and the former earth had passed away; and the sea has ceased to be.

and he will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no death any longer, nor any grief or crying or pain. The old order has passed away."

He also said: "It has now come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, The Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will freely give Of the spring of the Water of life.

The person who has victory [in the Christian life] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my child.

that has the glory of God. Its radiance [is] like a precious stone, [something] like a jasper stone, shining like crystal.

It has a great and high wall that has twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on [the gates] which are of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel--

And the wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

No longer will there be anything that has a curse on it. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His slaves will worship Him,

Then he said to me. "These words may be trusted, and are true. the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his slaves what must soon take place.

& 10] And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and genuine, for the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants what must very soon come to pass.

"See! I am coming very soon, bringing with me my rewards, to repay everyone for what he has done.

& 13] Lo, I am coming very soon, with my reward, to requite everyone for what he has done."
