Then they erected over him a large pile of stones (it remains to this very day) and the Lord's anger subsided. So that place is called the Valley of Disaster to this very day.

So Joab sent to Tekoa and brought from there a wise woman. He told her, "Pretend to be in mourning and put on garments for mourning. Don't anoint yourself with oil. But my lord has wisdom like that of the angel of God, and knows everything that is happening in the land."

Even youngsters have scorned me; when I get up, they scoff at me.

On my right the young rabble rise up; they drive me from place to place, and build up siege ramps against me.
