In my distress I called upon Jehovah, And cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry before him came into his ears.

Nevertheless he regarded their distress, When he heard their cry:

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; thou shalt weep no more; he will surely be gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear, he will answer thee. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be hidden anymore, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers;

Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, If thou put away unrighteousness far from thy tents.

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he will hear thee; And thou shalt pay thy vows.

yea, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me because of their trouble.

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this , O son of man? thou shalt again see yet greater abominations than these. Therefore will I also deal in wrath; mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

ye who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. Then shall they cry unto Jehovah, but he will not answer them; yea, he will hide his face from them at that time, according as they have wrought evil in their doings.

But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord;

Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his lovingkindness from me.

I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications.

and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
