God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ. He was not imputing their trespasses against them, for he had committed the word of reconciliation to us.

There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
It was the good pleasure of the Father that in him all the fullness should dwell.
If their rejection means reconciliation for the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (atonement) (sacrificial payment) for our sins.
I will forgive their wickedness and I will remember their sins no more.'
Enoch walked with God. Then he was no more, because God took (moved) him away.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. You were called in one body for this purpose. You be thankful.
