In all these passages in the Revelation the word is ??????, the diminutive of ?????, 'a lamb,' signifying a 'young lamb,' or 'lambkin.' The same word was used by the Lord to Peter in Joh 21:15; "Feed my lambs," applying it to the Lord's young disciples.

No man can learn that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth. These are they who were not defiled with women. They are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed (bought) from among mankind. They are the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. No falsehood (lie) (deceit) was found in their mouth, for they are without fault. Then I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven. He had everlasting good news to preach to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. He spoke in a loud voice: Respect God, and give him glory! The hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Another angel followed, saying: Babylon the great has fallen. She has fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. The third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of the ages (Eternal King) (King of the nations) (King of the holy ones). (Deuteronomy 31:30; 32:4) (Exodus 6:3)
They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome (conquer) them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. Those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Let us be glad, rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife made herself ready.
He said to me: Write: Blessed are they who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. He said to me: These are the true sayings of God.
One of the seven angels came to me. He had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues. He said: Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife. He carried me away in spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy city Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. read more. She had the glory of God. Her light was like a very precious stone, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. The city had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on each gate, the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. He who talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and the gates and the wall. And the city lies foursquare. The length is as large as the width. He measured the city with the reed, fourteen hundred miles. The length and the width and the height of it are equal. He measured the wall, two hundred feet, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. The structure of the wall was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each individual gate was one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass. I saw no temple there: for the Jehovah God the Almighty and the Lamb are the temple. The city did not need the sun or the moon to shine on it. For the glory of God and of the Lamb was its light. The nations will walk by means of its light. The kings of the earth bring their glory into it. Its gates will not close in the daytime and there will be no night there. They will bring the glory of the nations into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it. The shameful and deceitful will not enter. Only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life will enter.
He showed me a pure river of water of life. It was clear as crystal and flowed out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
There will be no curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will serve him.
