But the high places were not removed; only, Asa's heart was perfect with Jehovah all his days.

Only there was not as Ahab who was sold to do evil in the eves of Jehovah, whom Jezebel stimulated him.

Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel.

And it cometh to pass, at the heads of the charioteers seeing Jehoshaphat, that they said, 'He is only the king of Israel;' and they turn aside to him to fight, and Jehoshaphat crieth out,

He walked in all of the way of Asa his father, and he did not turn aside from it, doing right in the eyes of Yahweh. Only he did not remove the high places; the people [were] still sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.

There was no king reigning in Edom; there was only a stand-in king.
