But now, apart from law, a righteousness of God hath been manifested, borne witness to by the law and the prophets, -

For we reckon that a man is to be declared righteous by faith, apart from works of law.

Just as David also affirmeth the happiness of the man unto whom God reckoneth righteousness apart from works: -

Howbeit sin taking, occasion - through the commandment, wrought out in me all manner of coveting; for, apart from law, sin is dead; -

And, I, was alive, apart from law, at one time, but, the commandment coming, sin sprang up to life,
