The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
They will tell you, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Don't go away, nor follow after them,

While they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and they assumed that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately [as soon as He reached the city].

The gentleman replied to him, 'I will judge you [based] on what you [yourself] have [just] said, you evil slave. [Since] you knew that I am a hard man to deal with, picking up [and keeping] something I had not laid down, and harvesting a crop I had not planted,
And he said to those standing by, Take from him the mina, and give it to him that has ten minas,??25 and they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas,??26 for I tell you, that to every one that has shall be given; but from him that has not, even what he has shall be taken away;
They said to him, 'He has two hundred, sir!'??26 'I tell you, the man who has will have more given him, and from the man who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away!
[Jesus explained,]
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd told Jesus, "Teacher, tell your disciples to be quiet."
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

When the master of the feast tasted the water which had now turned into wine, without knowing where it had come from??hough the servants who had drawn the water knew??10 he called the bridegroom and said to him, "Everyone else serves his good wine first, and his poorer wine after people have drunk deeply, but you have kept back your good wine till now!"
and says to him, Every man sets on first the good wine, and when men have well drunk, then the inferior; thou hast kept the good wine till now.
and didn't need anyone to tell him what people were like, because he himself knew what was in every person.

Stop toiling for the food that perishes, but toil for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for God the Father has given Him authority to do so."
