Keep on pursuing love, but still keep cultivating your spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophesying.

Take care that none of you ever pays back evil for evil, but always keep looking for ways to show kindness to one another and everybody.

Continue to live in peace with everybody and strive for that consecration without which no one can see the Lord.

So let us keep on pursuing the things that make for peace and our mutual upbuilding.

Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell everything you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come back here and follow me."

Then Peter answered Him, "We have left everything we had and followed you. What then are we to get?" Jesus said to them: "I solemnly say to you, in the new order of life, when the Son of Man shall take His seat on His glorious throne, you too, who have followed me, will sit on twelve thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel. So Jesus said to them, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishermen for catching men."

As He was walking by the shore of the sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was summed Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. He said to them, "Come! Follow me, and I will make you fishermen for catching men."

as well as James and John, Zebedee's sons, who were Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Stop being afraid; from now on you will be catching men." So after they had brought the boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

Dearly beloved, do not follow bad examples but good ones. Whoever practices doing right is God's child; whoever practices doing wrong has never seen God.

and nobody is worthy of me who does not take up his cross and follow me. Anybody who gains his lower life will lose the higher life, and anybody who loses his lower life for my sake will gain the higher life.
