Jesus answered them, "Let me also ask you a question. If you answer it, then I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

No one was able to answer [Jesus' reasoning] with [so much as] a word, and no one dared to ask Him any more questions from that day onward.

And the King will answer them and say, 'Truly I tell you, since you did all this for one of my least [significant] brothers, you did it for me.'

Then the Lord will answer them, 'Truly I tell you, since you did not do it for one of these least [significant brothers of mine], you did not do it for me.'

The head priest stood up and said to Him, "Have you nothing to answer? What about this charge being made against you by these people?"
