And when the time of their purification according to the law of Moses was completed, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

And he charged him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded."

And behold, two men talked with him, Moses and Elijah,

As the men were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah"not knowing what he said.

Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.'

He said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be convinced if some one should rise from the dead.'"

and they questioned him, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies, having a wife but no children, the man must take the wife and raise up children for his brother.

But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the bush, where he calls the Lord 'the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.'

And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them the things concerning himself in all the scriptures.

Then he said to them, "These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled."
