And Gaal spoke again and said, See there come people down from the middle of the land, and another company comes along by the oak of Meonenim.
And Gaal went out before the men of Shechem, and fought with Abimelech.
And Abimelech dwelt at Arumah: and Zebul thrust out Gaal and his brethren, that they should not dwell in Shechem.
And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Why passed you over to fight against the children of Ammon, and did not call us to go with you? we will burn your house upon you with fire.
