With the pure Thou showest Thyself pure, And with the perverse showest Thyself a wrestler,

In mine ears'saith Jehovah of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

all those whom my father gives me, shall come to me; and I will not reject any that come to me.

For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.

The servants of Amon conspired against him and killed the king in his palace.

The depths of the earth are in His hand,

But the people of the land killed all who conspired against the king and made Josiah his son king in his place.

Come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For by Thee I run -- a troop! And by my God I leap a wall.

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

But he forsook the counsel of the old men which they had given him, and took counsel with the young men who had grown up with him, who stood before him.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

They buried him in his tomb in the garden of Uzza, and Josiah his son became king in place of him.

For He is our God,
and we are the people of His pasture,
the sheep under His care.

Today, if you hear His voice:

If you get married it is not a sin; and if an unmarried woman gets married it is not a sin. But those who do so will have trouble in the flesh. But I will not be hard on you.

For who is God besides Jehovah? And who is a rock save our God?
