He thought upon his covenant, and pitied them, according unto the multitude of his mercies;

As for me, I will give thanks unto the LORD with my mouth, and praise him among the multitude;

They shall pour forth the remembrance of the multitude of thy goodness, and they shall shout forth thy justice.

Praise ye him in his powers: praise him according to the multitude of his greatness.

I am come almost into all misfortune, in the midst of the multitude and congregation."

He shall die in not being instructed, and he shall wander in the multitude of his folly.

Evil will stirreth up strife; but love covereth the multitude of sins.

In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

The lips of the righteous feed a whole multitude; but fools shall die in their own folly.

Who - though there be called out against him a multitude of shepherds - Will not at their voice, be dismayed, Nor, at their noise, be daunted, So, will Yahweh of hosts come down, to make war over Mount Zion, and over the hill thereof.

For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

From the voice of a multitude fled have peoples, From thine exaltation scattered have been nations.

Look down from heaven and see from Your lofty dwelling place, holy and glorious.
Where are Your zeal and Your mighty acts [Your miracles which you did for Your people]?
The stirring of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained and withheld from me.

Truly in vain is salvation looked for from the hills, and the multitude of mountains; truly in Jehovah our God is the salvation of Israel.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

For if He causes grief,
Then He will have compassion
According to His abundant lovingkindness and tender mercy.

Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them'shall remain , nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth: neither shall there be eminency among them.

The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn, for wrath is against all their multitude [of people].

And a sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt; and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them - by the sword, shall they fall.

You will lie among the uncircumcised (the barbaric, the boorish, the crude) with those who were slain by the sword. This is how it shall be with Pharaoh and all his hordes!”’ says the Lord God.”

Thus sayeth the LORD God: I will spread my net over thee, namely, a great multitude of people: these shall drive thee into my yarn,

I will make your horde [of people] fall by the swords of the mighty—all of them are tyrants among the nations,

And they will devastate the pride and presumption of Egypt,
And all its hordes will be destroyed.

This is the dirge (funeral poem to be sung) and they shall sing it [for her]. The daughters of the nations shall sing it; for Egypt and for all her hordes they shall sing it,” says the Lord God.

“Son of man, wail over the hordes of Egypt and cast them down, both her and the daughters of the powerful and majestic nations, to the nether world (the place of the dead), with those who go down to the pit;

In the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, To the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

“Elam [a conquest of Assyria] is there and all her hordes around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who made their terror spread in the land of the living and bore their shame and defeat with those who went down to the pit.
