An angry man exciteth contention; and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; and he that is of upright way is an abomination to the wicked man.

The young men who served as officials within the provinces led the charge, and somebody informed Ben-hadad, "Some men have come out from Samaria."

Later, he found another man and told him, "Please strike me!" So the man struck him and wounded him.

I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces; I got me men-singers and women-singers, and the delights of the children of men, a wife and concubines.

The men of Judah said to their relatives, the men of Simeon, "Invade our allotted land with us and help us attack the Canaanites. Then we will go with you into your allotted land." So the men of Simeon went with them.

And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai; and he called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

He looked behind him, took note of the young men, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. Suddenly two female bears emerged from the woods and mauled 42 of the young men.

And thus said Shimei as he cursed: Away, away, thou man of blood and man of Belial!

As she came near the man of God on the mountain, she grabbed his feet. When Gehazi intervened to push her away, the man of God said, "Leave her alone! She is deeply troubled! The LORD has concealed the thing from me, and hasn't informed me."

When they served the men, they began to eat the stew. But they cried out, "That pot of stew is deadly, you man of God!" So they couldn't eat the stew.

Later on, a man arrived from Baal-shalishah, bringing the man of God some bread as a first fruit offering. He had 20 loaves of barley and ripe ears of corn in his sack. So Elisha said, "Give them to the people so they can eat."

Naaman, the commander of the army of the king of Aram, was a great man in the opinion of his master. He was highly favored, because by him the LORD had given victory to Aram. Though he was a mighty and valiant man, he was suffering from leprosy.

When the king of Israel read the letter, he ripped his clothes and cried out, "Am I God? Can I kill and give life? Is this man sending me a request to heal a man's leprosy? Let's think about this he's looking for a reason to start a fight with me!"

When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent a message to the king and asked, "Why did you tear your clothes? Please, let the man come visit me and he will learn that there is a prophet in Israel!"

And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to me; and why then are ye angry for this matter? have we eaten anything which came from the king, or has he given us any present?

Then all the men of Israel went up from after David, following Sheba the son of Bichri. But the men of Judah clave to their king, from the Jordan even to Jerusalem.

And there went out after him Joab's men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men; and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

Now the king's sons, totaling 70 men, were living with the leading men of the city, who were their guardians. When the letter from Jehu arrived, the city leaders arrested the king's sons, slaughtered all 70 of them, put their heads in baskets, and sent them to Jehu at Jezreel.

There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there are righteous men unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; and there are wicked men to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are taken with the snare, like them are the children of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

and Jehovah smelleth the sweet fragrance, and Jehovah saith unto His heart, 'I continue not to disesteem any more the ground because of man, though the imagination of the heart of man is evil from his youth; and I continue not to smite any more all living, as I have done;

save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who have gone with me -- Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre -- they take their portion.'

And this man shall be Peace. When the Assyrian shall come into our land, and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight princes of men.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, neither waiteth for the sons of men.

The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots glitter with the sheen of steel, in the day of his preparation, and the spears are brandished.

from a false matter thou dost keep far off, and an innocent and righteous man thou dost not slay; for I do not justify a wicked man.

He breaks open a shaft away from where men sojourn, [paths] forgotten by the foot. They hang afar from men; they swing to and fro.

to cause it to rain on a land where no man is, on the wilderness, in which there is no man,

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless men,

So, they said to the [former] blind man again, "What do you have to say about the man, since [you say] he restored your sight?" The man replied, "He is a prophet."

For the work of a man he will render to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

They asked him, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies leaving a wife but no children, that man must marry the widow and father children for his brother.

O let the wickedness of the wicked man come to an end, but establish thou the righteous man. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.

In the pride of the wicked man the poor man is hotly pursued. Let them be taken in the devices that they have conceived.

For the wicked man boasts of his heart's desire. And the greedy man renounces, [yea], despises LORD.

He sits in the lurking-places of the villages. In the covert places he murders the innocent man. His eyes are secretly set against the poor man.

He lurks in secret as a lion in his covert. He lays in wait to catch the poor man. He catches the poor man when he draws him in his net.

He crouches, he bows down, and helpless men fall by his strong men.

LORD tries the righteous man, but his soul hates the wicked man and him who loves violence.

For the wise man, like the fool, will not be remembered for very long, because in the days to come, both will already have been forgotten. Alas, the wise man dies -- just like the fool!

so that men shall say, Truly there is a reward for the righteous man. Truly there is a God who judges in the earth.

All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like thee, who delivers a poor man from him who is too strong for him, yea, a poor and needy man from him who robs him?

The wicked man plots against the righteous man, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.

Better is a little that the righteous man has than the abundance of many wicked men.

The wicked man borrows, and pays not again, but the righteous man deals graciously, and gives.

A wicked man watches a righteous man, and seeks to kill him.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for there is a [happy] end to the man of peace.

For he will deliver a needy man when he cries, and a poor man, who has no helper.

They are not in trouble as [other] men, nor are they plagued like [other] men.

When lawless men rise, a common man will hide himself, but, when they perish, righteous men multiply.

Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of a wicked man, out of the hand of an unrighteous and cruel man.

Judge the poor man and the orphan. Do justice to the afflicted and destitute man.

Rescue the poor and needy man. Deliver from the hand of the wicked man.

Then thou spoke in a vision to thy sanctified, and said, I have laid help upon a mighty [man]. I have exalted a chosen [man] out of the people.

Your men will fall by the sword, your strong men will die in battle.

O that men would praise LORD for his loving kindness, and for his wonderful works to the sons of men!

A wicked man shall see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of wicked men shall perish.
