Exodus 30:19-21

Aaron and his sons will use it for washing their hands and feet. Before they go into the tent of meeting, they must wash so that they will not die. Before they come near the altar to serve as priests and burn an offering by fire to Jehovah. They must wash their hands and feet, so that they will not die. This is a long lasting rule that they and their descendants are to observe.
