“When a man takes a bride, he must not go out with the army or be liable for any duty. He is free to stay at home for one year, so that he can bring joy to the wife he has married.
So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, man must not separate.”
I command the married—not I, but the Lord—a wife is not to leave her husband. But if she does leave, she must remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband—and a husband is not to leave his wife.
Wives, be submissive to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Slaves, obey your human masters in everything. Don’t work only while being watched, in order to please men, but work wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord.
Masters, supply your slaves with what is right and fair, since you know that you too have a Master in heaven.
“When you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for six years; then in the seventh he is to leave as a free man without paying anything.
Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.
All who are under the yoke as slaves must regard their own masters to be worthy of all respect, so that God’s name and His teaching will not be blasphemed.
Slaves are to be submissive to their masters in everything, and to be well-pleasing, not talking back
Household slaves, submit with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel.
“You must not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages due a hired hand must not remain with you until morning.
“Do not oppress a hired hand who is poor and needy, whether one of your brothers or one of the foreigners residing within a town in your land. You are to pay him his wages each day before the sun sets, because he is poor and depends on them. Otherwise he will cry out to the Lord against you, and you will be held guilty.

when they made a complaint against me,
