But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
