He led them by the right pathto go to a city where they could live.

Therefore, may my advice seem good to you my king. Separate yourself from your sins by doing what is right, and from your injustices by showing mercy to the needy. Perhaps there will be an extension of your prosperity.”

But they never consider that I remember all their evil.Now their sins are all around them;they are right in front of My face.

Let whoever is wise understand these things,and whoever is insightful recognize them.For the ways of the Lord are right,and the righteous walk in them,but the rebellious stumble in them.

The people are incapable of doing right—this is the Lord’s declaration—those who store up violence and destructionin their citadels.
