In like manner also, the cup, after he had supped, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood: do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.

Wherefore he that eats this bread, or drinks this cup of the Lord, in an improper manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

for he that eats and drinks in an improper manner, eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
