Therefore, O king, let my advice be pleasing to you, and break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor, whether there will be duration to your prosperity.
The queen came into the banquet house because of the king's words, and his nobles. And the queen spoke and said, O king, live forever. Do not let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your face be changed.
because an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, explaining of dreams, and revealing of hard sentences, and the unraveling of knots, were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will reveal the meaning.
Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let your gifts be to yourself, and give your rewards to another. Yet I will read the writing to the king, and make the meaning known to him.
O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.
Contend! Contend with your mother, for she is not my wife, nor am I her husband. Let her therefore put away her fornications out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts,
Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another. For your people are as those who strive with the priest.
Though you, Israel, fornicate, yet do not let Judah become guilty. And do not come to Gilgal, nor go up to Beth-aven, nor swear, As Jehovah lives.
Come and let us return to Jehovah. For He has torn, and He will heal us; He has stricken, and He will bind us up.
And now they sin more and more, and have made themselves a molten image of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen. They say of them, Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.
Tell your sons of it, and let your sons tell their sons, and their sons another generation.
Blow a ram's horn in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of Jehovah comes, for it is near at hand;
Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, gather the elders, gather the children and those who suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go forth out of his chamber, and the bride out of her room.
Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Have pity on Your people, O Jehovah, and give not Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among those of the nations. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God?
Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.
Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I am strong.
Let the nations be awakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the nations all around.
But let judgment roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
The vision of Obadiah. So says the Lord God concerning Edom: We have heard a message from Jehovah, and a messenger is sent among the nations: Rise up, even let us rise up against her for battle.
And they said, each one to his fellow, Come and let us cast lots, so that we may know who has caused this evil to occur to us. And they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.
And they cried to Jehovah and said, We beg You, O Jehovah, we beg You, let us not perish for this man's life, and do not lay on us innocent blood. For You, O Jehovah, have done as it pleased You.
And he cried out and said in Nineveh by the decree of the king and his great ones, saying, Do not let man or beast, herd or flock taste anything; do not let them feed, nor drink water.
But let man and animal be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God. And let them each one turn from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Hear, all you people; listen, O earth, and its fullness. And let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.
And many nations shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
Now also many nations are gathered against you, who say, Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look on Zion.
Hear now what Jehovah says: Arise, contend with the mountains and let the hills hear your voice.
Feed your people with your rod, the flock of your inheritance, who dwell alone in the woods, in the midst of Carmel; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
But Jehovah is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him.
In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not! Do not let not your hands droop, Zion.
And I said, Let them set a clean turban on his head. And they set a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the Angel of Jehovah stood by.
So says Jehovah of Hosts: Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these Words by the mouth of the prophets, that in the day the house of Jehovah of Hosts is founded, the temple is to be built.
And it will be, as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, but let your hands be strong.
And let each devise no evil in your heart against his neighbor; and love no false oath. For all these are things that I hate, says Jehovah.
and the residents of one shall go to another, saying, Let us go at once to seek favor of the face of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of Hosts; I will go also.

But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and let the dead bury their dead.
Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith let it be to you.
And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See, let no one know.
And if the house is worthy, let your peace come on it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.
Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and get hold of his inheritance.
Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand).
Let him on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house;
nor let him in the field turn back to take his clothes.
And He went a little further and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.
Rise, let us be going; behold, he who is betraying Me is at hand.
Pilate said to them, What then shall I do with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all said to him, Let Him be crucified.
And the governor said, Why? What evil has He done? But they cried out the more, saying, let Him be crucified!
Then all the people answered and said, Let His blood be on us and on our children.
He saved others, but he cannot save himself. If he is the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
He trusted in God, let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him. (For He said, I am the Son of God.)
The rest said, Let Him alone, let us see whether Elijah will come to save Him.
And He said to them, Let us go into the next towns so that I may proclaim there also. For that reason I came forth.
When they could not come near to Him because of the crowd, they unroofed the roof where He was. And digging through, they let down the cot on which the paralytic was lying.
And He said to them, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
And evening having come, He said to them on that day, Let us pass over to the other side.
For Moses said, "Honor your father and your mother." And, "Whoever curses father or mother, let him die the death."
But Jesus said to her, Let the children first be filled. For it is not right to take the children's loaves and to throw it to the dogs.
And calling near the crowd with His disciples, He said to them, Whoever will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
Therefore what God has joined together, let not man put apart.

And He began to speak to them by parables. A man planted a vineyard, and set a fence about it, and dug a wine-vat, and built a tower, and he let it out to vinedressers, and went away.
But those vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him and the inheritance shall be ours.
But when you see the abomination of desolation, that spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let him who reads understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
And let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house.
And let him who is in the field not turn back again in order to take up his garment.
And Jesus said, Let her alone! Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work towards Me.
Rise up, let us go. Lo, he who betrays Me is at hand.
Let Christ the King of Israel now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe. And they who were crucified with Him insulted Him.
