He spoke at some length to them in parables, saying: "A sower went out to sow,
and while he was sowing, {some seed} fell on the side of the path, and the birds came [and] devoured it.
Some fell upon stony ground where it had not much earth, and anon it sprung up, because it had no depth of earth:
Some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up and choked it.
Part fell in good ground, and brought forth good fruit: some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
For the heart of his people is made fat, Their ears are dull of hearing; Their eyes, too, have they closed, Lest some day their eyes should perceive, And their ears should hear, And their heart should understand and turn, And I should heal them.
when any one heareth the doctrine of the gospel, and considers it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away what was sown in his heart: he is the person meant by the high-way, where some of the seed was sown: but the stony ground,
He which is sown in the good ground, is he, that heareth the word and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold."
'tis some enemy, said he, has done this. the servants replied, shall we go then and pull them up?
But the farmer said, 'No, for while you are gathering up the weeds, you might root up [some of] the wheat with them.
This was another parable which Jesus related-- "The Kingdom of Heaven is like some yeast which a woman took and covered up in three pecks of flour, until the whole had risen."
All these things spake Jesus to the multitude in parables, and did not discourse to them without some parable.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is similar to a [retail] merchant searching to buy some fine pearls.
Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered some of every kind;
When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food."
Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away; give them some food yourselves."
[Meanwhile] the boat, still some distance from shore, was being severely battered by the waves because of the opposing winds.
and when his disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is some spirit," and cried out for fear.
Then some Pharisees and scribes from Jerusalem came to Jesus, and asked Him,
Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind; and if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into some pit."
And Jesus says to them, How much bread have you? And they said, Seven cakes, and some small fishes.
Then came to him the Pharisees with the Sadducees also, and did tempt him, desiring him to show them some sign from heaven.
And they said, {Some} [say] John the Baptist, but others Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
Truly I say to you, that there are some of those standing here who will never experience death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
I brought him to [some of] your disciples [for help] but they were not able to heal him."
He answered them, "[It was] because you had such little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as [small as] a mustard tree seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to that place over there' and it would move. And nothing will be impossible for you [to do]." {[{[Some manuscripts contain the following verse:
Some time after, while they were in Galilee, Jesus said to them, the son of man will be betrayed into the hands of men:
Make sure you do not look down on any one of these little ones [i.e., humble followers of Christ]. For I tell you, their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. {[{[Some ancient manuscripts include verse
What does it seem to you? If it happens a hundred sheep are with some man, and one of them went astray, after going (having left the ninety-nine on the mountains), does he not seek the one going astray?
And some Pharisees came up to Him, to try Him out with the question, "Is it right for a man to divorce his wife for any cause?"
For some are born incapable of marriage, and some have been made so by men, and some have made themselves so for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let him accept it who can."
After that some little children were brought to Him, for Him to lay His hands on them and pray for them, but His disciples reproved those who brought them.
But a great number who are first will be last, and some who are last will be first.
On going out again, about nine o'clock, he saw some others standing in the market-place, doing nothing.
When he went out about five, he found some other men standing there, and said to them 'Why have you been standing here all day long, doing nothing?'
And most of the crowd spread their coats along the road, but some were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them along the road.
and the multitudes--some of the people preceding Him and some following--sang aloud, "God save the Son of David! Blessings on Him who comes in the Lord's name! God in the highest Heavens save Him!"
While he was still in the Temple Courts, some blind and some lame people came up to him, and he cured them.
but they seiz'd his servants, beat some, killed one, and stoned another.

Teacher, Moses said, If some man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
For this reason, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some of them you will put to death and put on the cross, and to some of them you will give blows in your Synagogues, driving them from town to town;
So if they say to you, 'Here He is in the desert,' do not go out to see. Or 'Here He is in some secret place,' do not believe it.
that slave's master will come back some day when he does not expect him, and at some time of which he does not know
And the foolish ones said to the wise ones, 'Give us [some] of your olive oil, because our lamps are going out!'
But the wise ones answered saying, "Certainly there will never be enough for us and for you! Go instead to those who sell [olive oil] and buy [some] for yourselves.'

And when he was in private, the twelve, and some of his disciples asked him the meaning of the parable.
'Though they have eyes, they may see without perceiving; And though they have ears, they may hear without understanding; Lest some day they should turn and be forgiven.'
Some of the seed that fell along the roadside represents where 'the word' was sown [i.e., preached]. When these people have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away 'the word' which had been sown in them.
And in the same way, some [of the seed] that was sown on rocky soil represented those who heard 'the word' and immediately accepted it gladly,
And those that were sown in good ground, are they that hear the word and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty fold some sixty fold, some a hundred fold."
Nothing is hidden unless it is some day to come to light, nor was anything ever kept hidden but that it should some day come into the light of day.
so, leaving the crowd, they took him just as he was in the boat, accompanied by some other boats.
Jesus was at once conscious that some healing virtue had passed from him, so he turned round in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
While he was still speaking, some people came from the synagogue leader's home and said, "Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher anymore?"
And he gave them special orders that they were not to say anything of this; and he said that some food was to be given to her.

Others said, "It is Elijah." And some said, "It is a prophet, or as one of the prophets."
then Jesus said to them, come, let us retire privately to some place of solitude, to repose your selves a while. for such a crowd of people were continually coming and going, that they had not even time to eat.
So they went away by themselves in a boat to some remote place.
