The day of Jehovah will come as a thief. The heavens will pass away with a great noise. The elements shall be dissolved with intense heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up (destroyed). (Joel 2:31) (Zephaniah 1:14) Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved (destroyed), what manner of persons should you be in all holy living and godliness? Look for and earnestly desire the coming presence of the Day of Jehovah. (Zephaniah 1:14) The heavens being on fire will be dissolved (destroyed), and the elements will melt with intense heat!

You founded the earth of old. The heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you endure. All of them will wear out like a garment; like clothing you will renew them and they will be renewed.

All the stars in the sky will dissolve. The heavens will be rolled up like a scroll. The stars will fade away like leaves fall from a vine or fruit from a tree.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens. Look at the earth below. The heavens will vanish like smoke and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants die like flies (gnats). But my salvation will last forever! My righteousness will never fail.

I solemnly tell you, heaven and earth would pass away before one small letter (detail) will pass away from the Law. All things must be accomplished.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled together. Every mountain and island was moved from their places.

God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death. There will be no more sorrow nor crying. There will be no more pain! The former things have passed away.

For the earnest expectation of the creation is waiting for the manifestation (revelation) (disclosure) of the sons of God. For the creation was subject to corruption, not by it's own will but by reason of the one who subjected it on the basis of hope. For we know that the whole creation groans and is in pain together until now.

He said to Adam: Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you. You will eat the plants of the field. You will eat your food by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground. You came from the ground. For dust you are and to dust you will return.

In the end Christ will deliver the kingdom to God the Father. Christ will destroy every ruler and all authority and all power. According to the Scriptures: God has placed all things under his control (subjection). (Ephesians 1:22) But when he said all things are placed under him, it is with the exception of [God]. For [God] is the one who placed all things under him (Christ). (1 Peter 3:22) (John 3:35) When all things shall be subdued under the Son, then the Son will also be subjected to God who put all things under him, that God may be all in all (ruler over everything).

([Psalm of David]) Jehovah said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.

For David has not ascended into heaven and yet he said: 'Jehovah said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.' (Psalm 110:1)

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. There was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Behold! I WILL CREATE A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

The new heaven and earth that I am about to make will continue in my presence, declares Jehovah. So your descendants and your name will also continue in my presence.

Nothing impure will ever enter it. The shameful and deceitful will not enter. Only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life will enter.

But the wicked will perish! The enemies of Jehovah will be like the glory of the pastures. They vanish, like smoke they vanish away.

Awake, awake, O Zion, put on your strength. Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.

You will know that I am Jehovah your God, dwelling in Zion my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy and no strangers will pass through (invade) her any more.

The devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are, and will be tormented day and night forever.

Blessed are those who obey his commandments. They have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the city. Outside are the dogs (impure men) and those who practice spiritism, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and everyone who tells lies.'

If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things have passed away. Behold, they have become new.

Jesus answered: Truly I tell you unless a person is born again (brought forth from above) he cannot see the kingdom of God.

not by works done in righteousness, which we did, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration (restoration) (spiritual rebirth) and renewing (renovation) of the Holy Spirit.

You put on the new self that is being renewed to a true knowledge (full discernment) according to the image of the one who created him.

Put on the new man, that in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove your stubborn hearts and give you obedient hearts.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast (dependable) spirit within me.

If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from among the dead dwells with you, he who raised Christ from among the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive. This is on account of his Spirit that dwells with you.

I know that my redeemer lives, and in later days he will take his stand on the earth. Even after my skin is gone and this body destroyed, I will see God in my own flesh. I will see him with my own eyes, not with someone else's. My heart fails inside me!

Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who have wisdom (insight) will shine like the brightness of the firmament. They turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Do not wonder about this for the hour is coming when everyone in the grave will hear his voice. They will return. Those who did good will have the resurrection of life. Those who did evil will receive the resurrection of judgment.

I have hope toward God, which they also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the righteous and the unrighteous.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption. It is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor. It is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness and it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body and it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body.read more.
Thus it is written: The first man Adam was made a living being. The last Adam became a life giving spirit! How is it the first is not spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy: the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy so are those who are of the earth. And as is the heavenly, so are those who are of heaven. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Corruption may not inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a secret. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last reverberation of the trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. When this corruptible shall be clothed with (Greek: enduo: dressed, put on) incorruption, and this mortal shall be clothed with immortality, then the saying will come true: Death is swallowed up in victory.

Christ will, through his power, bring everything under his authority. He will change our humble bodies and make them like his glorified (glorious) body (literally and figuratively: body of his glory). He is able to subject all things to himself.

On this mountain He will destroy the shroud that is cast over all peoples, the sheet that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. He will take away the disgrace of His people from the earth. Jehovah has spoken!

They will reach Jerusalem with gladness, singing and shouting for joy. They will be happy forever. They will be forever free from sorrow and grief.

Jehovah's ransomed will return. They will enter Zion with singing! Everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Your sun will no longer go down, nor will your moon disappear. Jehovah will be your everlasting light, and your days of sadness will be over.

I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people. The sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.

The Lamb who is in the middle of the throne will feed them and lead them to living fountains of water. God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

I will give to those within my Temple and its walls a memorial and a name that is better than sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.

This is the covenant (agreement) that I will make with Israel after those days, declares Jehovah. I will put my teachings (Law) inside them. I will write those teachings (Law) on their hearts (inner man) (mind) (will) (conscience) (understanding). I will be their God, and they will be my people.

I will give them one (united) heart, and put a new spirit within them. I will take the heart of stone (unkind attitude) out of them and give them a heart of flesh (loving disposition).

The nations will see your righteousness. All kings will see your glory. You will be given a new name that Jehovah will designate.

You will leave your name to my chosen ones as a curse. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name.

Give up all the evil you have been doing. Get yourselves new minds and hearts. Why do you Israelites want to die?

He who can hear should listen to what the Spirit says to the congregations! To those who overcome in victory I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give each of them a white stone on which is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.'

We do not give up! Though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

If you have been raised together with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

In my Father's house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

You are renewed in the spirit (vital principles) (attitude) of your mind (understanding).

We know that if our earthly house (human body) (habitation of life) is destroyed; we have a building from God. It is an everlasting house in the heavens, not made with human hands.

I request (urge) (implore) you brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this world (religious, social, political, and economic arrangement). But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Then I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. He will dwell with them and they will be his people! God will be with them, and be their God.

They sing a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You made them kings and priests to our God. They will reign as kings over the earth.

The city will measure about thirty-one thousand five hundred feet all the way around. From then on the city's name will be: Jehovah Is There.

Sing to him a new song. Play your best and shout with joy.

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see, respect and trust in Jehovah.

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For I am coming, and I will dwell in the midst of you, said Jehovah.

I will sing a new song to you, O God; upon a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to you.

Praise Jehovah! Sing a new song to Jehovah. Sing his praise in the congregation of godly people.

Sing a new song to Jehovah. Sing his praise, all the world! Praise him, you that sail the sea. Praise him, all creatures of the sea! Sing, distant lands and all who live there!

They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders. No man can learn that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth.

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of the ages (Eternal King) (King of the nations) (King of the holy ones). (Deuteronomy 31:30; 32:4) (Exodus 6:3) Who will not reverence you, Jehovah, and glorify your name, for only you are holy. All nations will come and worship you. Your righteous judgments are clearly apparent.

We also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption and the release from our bodies by ransom. We are saved by this hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. For does a man hope for what he sees? If we hope for what we do not see, do we have patience to wait for it?

If children, then heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him. I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us.

We know that if our earthly house (human body) (habitation of life) is destroyed; we have a building from God. It is an everlasting house in the heavens, not made with human hands. In this we sigh (in silent prayer), longing to be clothed with our habitation that is from heaven. Indeed being clothed we will not be found naked.read more.
While in this tabernacle we groan and sigh with prayer. We are concerned that we would be clothed with what is mortal and be swallowed up (devoured) by this life. He that prepared us for this very purpose is God. He gave the Spirit to us as a guarantee (pledge) (security).
