'Glory' in the Bible
Again the devil takes him to a very high mountain, and shews him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory,
When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
but I say unto you, that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed as one of these.
For the Son of man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to each according to his doings.
And Jesus said to them, Verily I say unto you, That ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit down upon his throne of glory, ye also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land lament, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit down upon his throne of glory,
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him shall the Son of man also be ashamed when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
And they said to him, Give to us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory.
and then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory;
And lo, an angel of the Lord was there by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they feared with great fear.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good pleasure in men.
a light for revelation of the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel.
And the devil said to him, I will give thee all this power, and their glory; for it is given up to me, and to whomsoever I will I give it.
For whosoever shall have been ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he shall come in his glory, and in that of the Father, and of the holy angels.
who, appearing in glory, spoke of his departure which he was about to accomplish in Jerusalem.
But Peter and those with him were oppressed with sleep: but having fully awoke up they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.

There have not been found to return and give glory to God save this stranger.

Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory?

But when Jesus heard it, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.
Jesus says to her, Did I not say to thee, that if thou shouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
These things said Esaias because he saw his glory and spoke of him.
for they loved glory from men rather than glory from God.
and now glorify me, thou Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was.
And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;
Father, as to those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
And he said, Brethren and fathers, hearken. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
But being full of the Holy Spirit, having fixed his eyes on heaven, he saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
And immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he did not give the glory to God, and he expired, eaten of worms.
And as I could not see, through the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came to Damascus.
and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and quadrupeds and reptiles.
to them who, in patient continuance of good works, seek for glory and honour and incorruptibility, life eternal.
but glory and honour and peace to every one that works good, both to Jew first and to Greek:
For if the truth of God, in my lie, has more abounded to his glory, why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

Wherefore receive ye one another, according as the Christ also has received you to the glory of God.
the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God had predetermined before the ages for our glory:
which none of the princes of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;)
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatever ye do, do all things to God's glory.
For man indeed ought not to have his head covered, being God's image and glory; but woman is man's glory.
But woman, if she have long hair, it is glory to her; for the long hair is given to her in lieu of a veil.
And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly:
one the sun's glory, and another the moon's glory, and another the stars' glory; for star differs from star in glory.
It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.
For whatever promises of God there are, in him is the yea, and in him the amen, for glory to God by us.
(But if the ministry of death, in letters, graven in stones, began with glory, so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses, on account of the glory of his face, a glory which is annulled;
how shall not rather the ministry of the Spirit subsist in glory?
For if the ministry of condemnation be glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory.
For also that which was glorified is not glorified in this respect, on account of the surpassing glory.
For if that annulled was introduced with glory, much rather that which abides subsists in glory.
But we all, looking on the glory of the Lord, with unveiled face, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord the Spirit.
in whom the god of this world has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the radiancy of the glad tidings of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine forth for them.
Because it is the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
For all things are for your sakes, that the grace abounding through the many may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
For our momentary and light affliction works for us in surpassing measure an eternal weight of glory;
through glory and dishonour, through evil report and good report: as deceivers, and true;
and not only so, but is also chosen by the assemblies as our fellow-traveller with this grace, ministered by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and a witness of our readiness;

to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has taken us into favour in the Beloved:
that we should be to the praise of his glory who have pre-trusted in the Christ:
who is the earnest of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession to the praise of his glory.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him,
being enlightened in the eyes of your heart, so that ye should know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Wherefore I beseech you not to faint through my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
in order that he may give you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power by his Spirit in the inner man;
to him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus unto all generations of the age of ages. Amen).
being complete as regards the fruit of righteousness, which is by Jesus Christ, to God's glory and praise.
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to God the Father's glory.
whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and their glory in their shame, who mind earthly things:)
who shall transform our body of humiliation into conformity to his body of glory, according to the working of the power which he has even to subdue all things to himself.
But my God shall abundantly supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
But to our God and Father be glory to the ages of ages. Amen.
strengthened with all power according to the might of his glory unto all endurance and longsuffering with joy;
to whom God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you the hope of glory:
