We have access to grace (God's favor) by faith through him. This is where we stand. We rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

But he was pierced for our transgressions! He was crushed for our iniquities! The punishment that brought us peace was upon him. There has been healing for us because of his wounds.

So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. He will appear the second time without sin to those who look to him for their salvation.
